Wills & Estates Legal Assistant- #13213
Our client, a wonderful mid-sized firm right downtown, is seeking a bright Wills & Estates Legal Assistant to join them on a permanent basis! If you have at least 2 years of experience and would like to work with a great firm, then we need to hear from you ASAP!
This role will see you providing legal administrative to a lawyer with a thriving Wills & Estates practice.
Your responsibilities here will include:
-Coordinating meetings and conference calls;
-Greeting and handling intake duties with clients; assisting in clients meetings;
-Opening / closing / maintaining legal files'
-Preparing correspondence and legal documents including Wills, Trust agreements, and reporting packages;
-Handle docketing, client payments, and billing procedures in PC Law; and
-Providing back-up for other assistants on the team as may be necessary.
As the successful candidate you are a friendly, flexible, and polished professional with a strong understanding of legal terminology and a very keen eye for details. Your commitment to confidentiality and client service, sound judgment, strong time-management abilities, and top-notch technical, organizational and interpersonal skills will see you winning here! Proficiency with MS Office and PC Law is required.
