Real Estate Assistant/ Clerk (Vaughan) - #12665

Our client, an award-winning firm with gorgeous offices in Vaughan, has an immediate opening for a Real Estate Assistant/Clerk to join their excellent team! If you have at least 3 years of experience and want to skip the long commute downtown, then we need to hear from you!
This hybrid role, focused on both residential and commercial real estate files, requires someone with solid knowledge of real estate procedures who can run a file from start to finish. As our ideal candidate you'd come with excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, superb attention to detail, and the confidence to jump right in! Experience with MS Office, The Conveyancer, and Teraview are required.
Some of the things you'll be doing here will include:
-Liaising between clients, lawyers, and third parties professionally;
-Opening, closing, and maintaining clients files and contacts in database;
-Handling billing (inputting dockets, preparing clients bills and statements);
-Performing title searches, registrations, and preparing deed transfers;
-Drafting, editing, and/or proof-reading correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents from instructions or precedents;
-Screening calls, emails, and mail; answering/routing appropriately;
-Managing lawyers' calendar; and
-Other administrative duties as may be required.
