Our client, a reputable business law firm within walking distance to Union Station, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant to join their excellent team! If you have at least 3 years of experience and are looking for a change, then we need to hear from you!

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, make a great team member, and are able to work efficiently on your own. Strong proficiency with MS Office, Teraview, and Conveyancer are required here.

As part of the Commercial Real Estate group, you'll assist with the following:

-Managing transaction files from beginning to end;
-Preparing closing agendas and closing record books;
-Drafting, editing and finalizing correspondence and corporate documentation;
-Screening calls and emails and responding/routing as appropriate;
-Maintaining lawyers' calendars and contacts in Outlook and database;
-Opening, closing, and maintain legal files;
-Scheduling meetings and conference calls; and
-Processing expense claims, docketing, billing, scanning, photocopying, and other administrative duties as may be required.
